US Accounting Fresher (0-1year)

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional for the US Accounting role. The candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, along with strong analytical and time-management skills, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements & cash flow statements
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain and update accounting records & reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and review periodic financial reports.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Input financial data accurately into accounting software.
  • Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Hands-on learning with tools like QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle
  • Strong conceptual understanding of accounting principles

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; MBA Finance.
